The world-renowned company's logistics facility opened at Istanbul Airport

Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), considered one of the world's largest express transportation companies, officially opened its new global air transfer facility at Istanbul Airport today. A special ceremony was held at the IGA Istanbul Airport Cargo Terminal for the logistics company. The ceremony was attended by Istanbul Airport Administrative Governor Mehmet İlker Haktankaçmaz, IGA CEO Selahattin Bilgen, representatives of the logistics company, and other guests.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, İGA Istanbul Airport CEO Selahattin Bilgen said, "This investment by FedEx in İGA Istanbul Airport clearly demonstrates both our rapidly growing reputation among global logistics centers and Türkiye's strategic importance in the international aviation arena. This significant step reinforces our goal of becoming a strong player in global cargo and e-commerce operations, while also supporting our long-term vision of reaching a cargo handling capacity exceeding five million tons.
