Operation statement from Qassam Brigades and Jerusalem Brigades

In a written statement made by the Qassam Brigades, it was stated that an Israeli Merkava tank located close to the Israeli army's supply line in the Az-Zinne region, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, was targeted with a high explosive yesterday evening.

The Jerusalem Seriyyas, citing an anonymous field commander, said that dozens of Israeli soldiers and vehicles were targeted in an operation carried out this morning in Al-Huda Square, east of the Al-Shujaiyya neighborhood.

The statement, which stated that the operation began with the detonation of Israeli vehicles in a "minefield" and that soldiers and officers then entered the surrounding houses in hysterics, included the following statements:

"We targeted the Israeli forces taking shelter in the houses with a guided missile and then used TBG anti-fortification shells, then engaged the targeted forces at very close range with light and medium weapons, killing some of the vehicle crews and the officers and soldiers we targeted, while others were injured."

In another statement made by the Jerusalem Seriyyeleri, it was stated that an Israeli EVO Max type reconnaissance UAV that was conducting an intelligence mission in the skies of Khan Yunus was seized.
