Meteorology: Temperatures will remain above seasonal norms

According to the forecast on the Turkish State Meteorological Service's website, today's weather will be partly cloudy in the northern parts of the country, while elsewhere it will be partly cloudy and clear. Temperatures are expected to be above seasonal norms throughout Turkey. Winds are expected to be generally light, occasionally moderate, from the north and west.
While there is no current meteorological warning for today, the Marmara Region is forecasted to be partly cloudy and clear, becoming partly cloudy over time; the Aegean, Central Anatolia, Eastern Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia regions to be partly cloudy and clear; the Mediterranean Region to be partly cloudy and clear, partly cloudy in places in the east; the Western Black Sea Region to be partly cloudy and clear, becoming partly to very cloudy after midnight; and the Central and Eastern Black Sea regions to be partly cloudy. The highest air temperatures today are expected to be 41 degrees Celsius in Diyarbakır and Gaziantep. In addition, temperatures, which have been above seasonal norms nationwide, are forecasted to decrease in the northern and inland regions and drop to around seasonal norms starting Sunday.
