Hyundai Motor Group named to TIME Magazine's 'Most Influential Companies of 2025' list

Hyundai Motor Group was included in the '100 Most Influential Companies of 2025' list published by TIME magazine for the first time this year.

According to the company's statement, the list was created by receiving candidate suggestions from a global network of reporters and experts. The companies were selected as a result of editorial evaluation based on their impact, innovation, vision and success criteria. At the end of the evaluations, 105 companies that shape the future were included in the list.

Hyundai Motor Group’s approach to electric and hybrid vehicles has strengthened its position in the global market. The $21 billion investment plan announced in the US also supports the company’s sustainable mobility and high-tech manufacturing goals.

The magazine described the group as the 'Automotive Dark Horse', drawing attention to the fact that the group will become the world's third largest automotive group by sales in 2024.

The role of the Hyundai and Kia brands in electric and hybrid vehicles has influenced the direction of the sector by increasing consumer interest. The group plans to expand its hybrid vehicle range in order to meet changing consumer expectations. The strategy covers not only compact and mid-range models but also luxury segment vehicles.

The $21 billion US investment announced in March is considered one of the largest production investments in the region. It is noted that the investment will increase the group's production capacity and also contribute to its vision of environmentally friendly production.
