Europe's largest physical therapy hospital opens in Bahçelievler

This project, which is the largest physical therapy hospital in Europe, was implemented by the Ministry of Health. The center will also offer individual treatment plans and psychosocial support services. Equipped with high technology, the hospital has an area of 102 thousand square meters and a capacity of 650 beds; It stands out with its modern clinics and special rehabilitation areas. The center, which will provide comprehensive treatment to patients who have walking loss, need support after a stroke or have orthopedic disabilities, will implement personalized treatment processes for each patient, and will also focus on mental and social support services.
Stating that they contributed to the construction of the hospital, which was implemented by the Ministry of Health, as a municipality, Bahçelievler Mayor Dr. Hakan Bahadır drew attention to the social impacts of the center. Mayor Bahadır said, "This hospital is not just a treatment center; it will be a structure that rekindles hope and touches lives. As Bahçelievler Municipality, we attach great importance to the potential of this center to increase social harmony, employment and the quality of life of disabled individuals."
Bahçelievler Municipality, in cooperation with the hospital, has also put social support programs, guidance services for patients and their relatives, and projects that will increase the quality of life of disabled individuals in the district on its agenda. Bahçelievler Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Education and Research Hospital aims to be an exemplary center not only in Türkiye but also on the international platform after its opening.
