CHP's Başarır: No one can sit in office with the AKP's agenda

Answering questions from reporters after the hearing of the CHP 's 38th Congress Case was postponed to September 8, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır described the case as a "schizophrenic case ." Drawing attention to the fact that Turkey has real burning agendas, Başarır said, "We have very important things to do."

Emphasizing that the CHP aims to “take Türkiye to early elections,” Başarır said, “Our aim is to bring peace to this country. This is our main duty. We will not deal with nonsense. We are sure that a decision will be made in our favor on September 8.”

Speaking about what happened during the trial process, Başarır said:

No one has the right to trample on law and justice. Why is Turkey being occupied with this absurd case? We are here, our party is in safe hands. We will never surrender our party. If a friend of ours wants to be the party chairman, he will enter the congress and if he is successful, he will win. There is no one in this party who can sit in this seat with the agenda created by the AKP.”
