Why did Sydney Sweeney attend Jeff Bezos' wedding?

It was revealed that Sydney Sweeney's reason for attending the wedding was related to her new project with Amazon MGM Studios. According to Page Six , the famous actress was not friends with either Bezos or Sanchez, but attended the wedding "to show respect to the boss" in accordance with Hollywood tradition.

The famous actor is currently working on the movie adaptation of the video game Split Fiction with Amazon and is also serving as an executive producer on the project.

On the other hand, it is also known that Sydney Sweeney was photographed with the Bezos couple at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party held in March 2025. This shows that they spent time together in the past.
