Emre Törün was born in Istanbul on March 11, 1972. After completing his high school education at Beşiktaş Atatürk High School, Törün studied at the Ankara State Conservatory. He began his acting career in 1996 with a role in his first series, Kara Melek, for four consecutive seasons. He also played the character of intelligence officer Nevzat Çankırılı in the series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz, which he played for three seasons between 2015 and 2017.
