The mystery of the yellow cats has been solved

Some cultural icons, such as Garfield, Puss in Boots , and Toulouse of the Aristocats, have in common that they are all curly cats.
Two teams from Kyushu University in Japan and Stanford University in the US studied the genetic code that gives orange color to goldenrod cats.
HAS NOT BEEN FOUND UNTIL NOW
It's been known for decades that genetics is what gives orange tabby cats their distinctive color.
However, it has not been found yet where exactly this genetic code is located in the DNA.

According to BBC Turkish, researchers who compared the DNA of many cats with orange fur and those without orange fur, determined that a piece of DNA was missing from the ARHGAP36 gene in cats with this color.
