Melis Birkan, who turned 43 today, received a romantic birthday greeting from her husband, Aras Aydın. Sharing three photos with her husband on social media, Aydın celebrated Birkan's birthday with a heartfelt message.
Aras Aydın used the following expressions in his post:
“My pure, simple, beautiful, one and only wife,
It's hard to think of a life without you.
I'm so glad you exist, I'm so glad we're together, and I'm so glad you're my sparkling, pure-hearted, talented, and radiant wife. Happy birthday, my love. I'm behind you no matter what, and I love you so much!
The famous actor also added an emotional quatrain he wrote to his post:
HE TALKED ABOUT HIS MARRIAGE PROPOSAL FOR THE FIRST TIME“It’s cool to be a captive in this love business:
The night curtain is slightly ajar,
Today and tomorrow
Let's talk about your hands."
On the other hand, Aras Aydın shared for the first time the behind-the-scenes story of his marriage proposal to Melis Birkan in a program he recently hosted.
Aydın, who stated that he was experiencing financial difficulties at the time of the proposal, said, "Of course, I needed a ring, but it was a time when I couldn't work actively. I had a private pension that I'd been saving for 10 years. I went, cashed in my private pension, and bought the ring I would use to propose to Melis."
Aydın also explained that the proposal was based on a scenario and continued:
"I told Melis, 'I've got a new job, I'm playing the lead role. I need your help.' There's a girl named 'Name,' and I got 'Batu.' The scene is terrible because I wrote it. The dialogue is terrible; I wanted it to be sweet. The page number was the month we met.
"She's reading but she doesn't understand anything. Finally, I said my line, then I said, 'What was my comment?' I said, 'Wait, wait, don't remind me,' and I got down on one knee and proposed."
