Mothers from Esenyurt came together at a picnic organized by the municipality

Esenyurt Municipality organized a colorful picnic program for women living in the district on Mother's Day. The event, organized by the Women and Family Services Directorate and held at the Esenyurt Picnic Area, turned into a festival with entertainment that lasted throughout the day. Esenyurt Deputy Mayor Can Aksoy, who attended the program, showed close interest in the citizens. Aksoy, who celebrated Mother's Day, listened to the demands of the citizens he met one by one and provided information about the projects. During the picnic, women danced the halay dance, played games and enjoyed the food offered by the municipality. Various gifts were also distributed at the event.

"Hanımeli Street will be put into service very soon"

Aksoy, who mentioned projects for women in his speech, said, "We want to contribute to both the social and economic lives of our mothers. For this purpose, we are opening new course centers and creating areas where they can sell their handicraft products. We are turning the lower floors of our old municipality building into art workshops. Hanımeli Street and our social facilities will also be at the service of our women."

Good news about women and children's hospital

Aksoy, who also touched upon the historical peninsula and Beyoğlu tours organized for women in Esenyurt, stated that they will continue to increase such social projects. He also provided information about the women and children's hospital planned to be built in the district and said that negotiations with the Ministry of Health are ongoing for the facility to be built on a 50-acre area in the Gökevler Neighborhood.

Aksoy asked women for support for the 'Zero Waste' project

Asking for support from women in Zero Waste projects, Aksoy stated that the income from recycling will be loaded onto cards that will contribute to the family budget. Stating that innovations have been made in cleaning efforts, Aksoy stated that they will offer children the opportunity to spend quality time with summer schools and swimming courses.

Women who attended the event expressed their satisfaction by stating that such a comprehensive organization had not been held for a long time and thanked Deputy Mayor Can Aksoy for hosting the event.
