Cenk Eren took urgent measures after the deaths of Metin Arolat and Volkan Konak

Cenk Eren took precautions after Metin Arolat and Volkan Konak, who died of heart attacks on stage.

Eren said that he now has a team that has received first aid training and an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) device at his concerts.

Cenk Eren said, "We talked to my friend who is a heart surgeon. They gave me and my team training. Because we do a stressful job. When Volkan (Konak) fell on stage, three doctors intervened but they couldn't start his heart because they didn't have this equipment. I took such a precaution."

WHAT IS OED?

AED is a portable device that provides shock to the heart by means of electrodes attached to the chest during sudden cardiac arrest.

HE HAD A STENT INSTALLED IN HIS HEART

Cenk Eren announced that he lost 12 kilos last month:

"I had a stent inserted because one of my heart arteries was blocked. This affected me psychologically. I thought I was dying. I've been going to a psychiatrist for two months. He gave me another life. I quit smoking, started walking, cut down on carbohydrates, sugar and salt. I lost 12 kilos in an instant."
