CANiK and Nurol Makine collaborated in Lithuania

Participants from more than 12 countries had the opportunity to examine the advanced technology solutions offered by CANiK and Nurol Makina on site.

In this event, organized in cooperation with SYS Group companies UNIROBOTICS and AEI Systems, Nurol Makina demonstrated the live firing performance of two different high-tech systems integrated into the NMS 4x4 armored vehicle.

Participating in the Live Firing Show for the second time, the company presented a shooting performance with the TRAKON 30 Remote Controlled Weapon System (RCWS) developed by the SYS Group company UNIROBOTICS on the NMS 4x4 platform.

The ILGAR Smart Looping Ammunition System was also introduced at the event.

The following information was included in the statement made by the company:

“The 30x113mm VENOM LR Low Recoil Medium Caliber Cannon used on TRAKON 30 was produced by AEI Systems, a UK-based company of SYS Group. Offering easy integration to different platforms thanks to its adjustable rate of fire and low recoil force, VENOM LR provides high mission flexibility to operations with its 2000-meter effective range.

“Developed in accordance with modern combat conditions, ILGAR has a total weight of 1.5 kg (including warhead), a cruising speed of 120 km/h and an effective range of 20 km. The system offers the capacity to penetrate 200 mm of armor with its 400-gram multi-purpose warhead, while significantly reducing operational costs with its reusable launcher system. Integrated onto the NMS 4x4, the ILGAR system provides advantages in terms of tactical effectiveness and flexibility in the field.”

Stating that they carry out talent showcases and marketing activities all around the world in different events, SYS Group - CANiK General Manager Cahit Utku Aral stated that these works were implemented with strong teams and comprehensive international collaborations.
