Burcu Biricik became the target of scammers: I will do what is legally necessary

Actress Burcu Biricik, who got married to advertiser Emre Yetkin in 2016, welcomed her daughter Luna on July 15, 2024.

Biricik, who is now taking care of her daughter, warned her followers against scammers who give investment advice using her name and photos.

"THEY THINK IT'S REAL"

The 36-year-old actress shared the following on her Instagram account:

"Hello everyone. For a long time, they have been claiming that fraudulent betting sites have been using my name and images (and even some of my colleagues) to make investment recommendations."

"Normally, I didn't even feel the need to make a statement because it was so obvious that they were scammers. However, I see that some people who trust me think this is real. Therefore, I will do what is legally necessary. It is out of the question for me to give investment advice. Please do not trust such news."

On the other hand, actor Devrim Özkan also warned his followers against those who use his name to commit fraud:

"I would like to inform you that I have initiated legal proceedings against the person or persons who have been harassing the people around me by using my name recently. I kindly request that you do not pay attention to the messages sent and calls made using my name."
