Gold Film, the production company of the series "Cranberry Sherbet", made a statement regarding the allegations that arose on social media.

Recently, it was alleged that Feyza Civelek, who plays Nilay in the series, urinated on set. She saw this and argued with Pembe actress Sibel Taşçıoğlu, leading to Taşçıoğlu's departure from the series. These claims, which quickly spread on social media, caused widespread controversy.

In a written statement, Gold Film emphasized that the rumors in question were untrue. The statement included the following statements:

We would like to emphasize that the unfounded and baseless allegations circulating on social media recently about the cast of our series "Kızılcık Şerbeti" (Red Sherbet) do not reflect the truth. The story of the character Pembe has come to a natural conclusion, and therefore, our actress has left the cast of our series. Five months after this departure, it is clear that the unfounded allegations about our actors in the press and on social media are intended to harm our series. We kindly ask the public not to believe misleading, unfounded news and speculation.

The company stated that there was no crisis in the series' progress and that the character separations were entirely due to the script.
