Özgür Özel's disclosure of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) lawsuit exchange!

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated at the "Stand Up for the Nation's Will" rally in Tuzla that some judges and prosecutors were creating a market over the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality case. Özel added that he had evidence and would appeal to the HSK.

Özel's words to the IMM case exchange are as follows:

"Those who made slanderous accusations without any evidence are now in a state of panic because they can't find that evidence. While spouting nonsense, they've also begun to dare to do unthinkable things.

I'm now announcing that some prosecutors, who abuse their professions, and some lawyers who act as their ambassadors and intermediaries, are meeting with individuals and saying, "The prosecutor sent me, I'll be your lawyer. You'll give this statement; you'll say this. You'll pay this amount of money," and are creating a "stock market" through a gang based on the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) case. This isn't just hearsay; we have proof of this.

A lawyer, identified as Mehmet Yıldırım: We know that this lawyer visited companies and said, "This or that might happen to you. If you do this, I'll save you," and that they contacted the families of some detainees. We even know that a detainee, currently incarcerated, met with these individuals in the past, withdrew the money requested by the lawyer from the bank and delivered it to the individuals the lawyer sent, along with the receipt, at the bank branch. We also know that the date, time, receipt, and camera footage are all available.

These people take the money and take it to the lawyer. The lawyer openly names a prosecutor and says, "This person will give these statements on this day," and indeed, that statement is given on that day. With this incident proven, it's clear that he also made other people do certain things.

Tomorrow, I will submit these documents to the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK). This is a multi-million dollar issue. Remember how they told President Ekrem Ekrem, "There was $560 billion in bribes," but couldn't prove a single penny? Exposing this multi-million dollar exchange is in our hands.

This is my sincere appeal: I will provide the HSK with everything tomorrow, including the date, date, time, and receipt. I will even provide the HSK with a transcript of the 40-minute phone and WhatsApp conversation the lawyer conducted. Proceedings will be initiated based on this transcript. If they wish to access the evidence, the HSK investigators have the audio recording and are at their disposal.

Those who are now trying to fabricate false evidence with false witnesses based on old testimonies… Just like FETO members did before, if we surrender to those who are now trying to do this, who have messed up their hands and are involved in what is forbidden, we are cowardly.
