"LIFE STYLE CHANGE IS THE BASIS OF TREATMENT" Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yenigül, who emphasized that healthy lifestyle habits are of great importance in order to control this syndrome in the long term, said, "Healthy nutrition and regular exercise positively affect not only menstrual cycle but also hormone balance, insulin resistance and psychological state. A personalized, sustainable nutrition plan is the best approach. Even a small weight loss can positively affect ovulation cycle."

"SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS MAY DEVELOP IN THE LONG TERM" Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yenigül stated that polycystic ovary syndrome can pave the way for the development of some chronic diseases over time and said the following:

"Risks such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, sleep apnea and uterine cancer are increasing. In addition, depression, anxiety disorders and eating disorders can also be seen frequently. Therefore, regular doctor check-ups, blood tests and lifestyle adjustments are very important."
