Gluten-free diet can ruin your health!

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yalnız, a faculty member at the Gastroenterology Department of the Internal Medicine Department of Fırat University Hospital, made important statements about gluten sensitivity.
Prof. Dr. Yalnız emphasized the importance of gluten because it is a fundamental food source , saying, "Gluten is a nutrient found in staple grains like wheat, barley, and rye. It causes celiac disease. People with celiac disease must completely eliminate gluten from their diets. A gluten-free diet is a fundamental dietary principle. There's also gluten sensitivity, which can be described as more like an allergy. This is easier to treat. A gluten-free diet can be managed, but diagnosis is difficult. Like celiac disease, a lifelong gluten-free diet is required. It can be temporary. We recommend a year-long gluten-free diet. We see people switching to a gluten-containing diet despite not having any gluten sensitivity. However, this isn't necessary. Eating gluten may seem somewhat healthy, but one important question to consider is whether we're actually eating gluten-free, or whether we're simply comfortable because it's in barley, wheat, and rye, and we don't consume any other ingredients."
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yalnız said, "I don't think it's appropriate to follow a gluten-free diet consistently and consistently unless a doctor has tested you for gluten sensitivity. This is because we're eliminating barley and wheat, our primary nutritional sources, from our diet. This prevents us from obtaining essential nutrients like calcium. When we follow a gluten-free diet, we can be exposed to heart disease, diabetes, obesity, cholesterol, and metabolic diseases due to the gluten-free carbohydrate-rich diet. I don't think we should make a gluten-free diet the center of our lives just for the sake of bloating, gas, or simply for the sake of healthy eating."
