Dr. İlkay Çelik is not alone

The Istanbul Medical Chamber Assistant and Young Specialist Physicians Commission and the TTB Assistant and Young Specialist Physicians Branch Executive Board member Dr. İlkay Çelik was unlawfully dismissed from the profession, stating, "We reject gangs and fiefdoms in healthcare. We will continue our solidarity. Dr. İlkay Çelik is not alone."

The Istanbul Medical Chamber's Resident and Young Specialist Physicians Commission issued a written statement regarding Dr. İlkay Çelik's dismissal. The statement read, "We are determined to fight against arbitrary and unlawful dismissals. Dr. İlkay Çelik is not alone."

The statement emphasized that Dr. İlkay Çelik was unlawfully suspended on October 15, 2024, and then dismissed from his profession on March 5, 2025, despite being acquitted. He was not reinstated despite winning the lawsuit filed by his colleagues and obtaining a stay of execution on June 12, 2025.
