Applications for the Green Crescent's "Volunteer Doctors Project" have begun.

According to a statement from the Green Crescent, doctors from a wide range of disciplines, from family physicians to specialists, will support the work through training and various field services within the scope of the project.
The project aims to provide physicians with the opportunity to develop their professional skills, contribute to scientific development, and generate social benefits through a volunteer-based model.

The project, which involves physicians taking on more effective roles in addiction prevention, early diagnosis, correct guidance and rehabilitation processes, also encourages multidisciplinary collaborations by creating a solidarity network among healthcare professionals.
The Green Crescent Volunteer Physicians Project aims to reach 5,000 volunteer physicians who stand against addiction and want to share their experience in the field of health with awareness-raising efforts.
Establishing an effective international structure to combat addictions, in collaboration with international institutions such as the World Health Organization, is among the priorities of the project.
Thanks to the project, physicians will actively support protective, preventive and therapeutic processes related to alcohol, tobacco, substance, gambling and internet addictions, making a difference both in the field and in the healthcare system.

Participants will take part in different modules according to their interests and areas of expertise.
