TOKİ's 500,000 housing project draws huge interest! Citizens flock to the project
Applications have opened for 500,000 homes to be built in 81 provinces as part of the Housing of the Century Project, the largest social housing initiative in the Republic's history. The project, which will be implemented nationwide, will provide low-income citizens with the opportunity to own a home under affordable conditions.
The project, which aims to stabilize rental prices by increasing housing supply across Turkey, will help 500,000 citizens across all 81 provinces become homeowners. Citizens showed strong interest in the project on the first day of application.
YOUNG PEOPLE ARE NOW HOPEFUL... Citizens lined up at Ziraat Bank and Halk Bank branches to submit their applications. Applicant Gökhan Kokoroz said it was a great project for those who want and need a home.
Kokoroz, expressing his happiness with the young people's priority, said, "We were delighted to hear about the project. As you can see, the bank branch is very crowded. This project will provide convenience for citizens; we will be able to own a home as if we were paying rent."
Berke Eskici , one of the applicants, stated that he wants to own a house and said, "We will be very happy if we have a house. If it is available to us, we will pay it in installments like paying rent. It is very crowded. Everyone is applying to own a house."
