The LGS selection process begins tomorrow.

The preference process for nearly 1 million 8th-grade students begins tomorrow. Preferences can be made through e-School until July 24th.
The Transition to Secondary Education Preference and Placement Guide will be taken into account when making your selection. High school placements will be made in three categories: local, central, and boarding schools.
All students are required to choose local placement. Students may choose up to five schools, with the first three being chosen from the registration area where their residence is located.
For students who will choose local placement, their residence address, success score and attendance criteria will be taken into consideration.
In case of a tie in the evaluation, placement will be made based on the end-of-year success score in the 8th, 7th and 6th grades, respectively.
For high schools that accept students by exam, the LGS score and percentile will be taken into account. For schools with boarding houses, choosing is optional.
Once the selection process is completed, placement results and vacant quotas will be announced on August 4th.
