Terrible accident! Minibus carrying dormitory students crashed into parked truck

The minibus, driven by Mehmet Emin A., which was on its way to take students staying at a dormitory in Diyarbakır on holiday to Mersin, crashed into a truck parked on the roadside.

Two people in the vehicle, including a child, died in the accident, and 10 others were injured. Health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene after being alerted by bystanders. After receiving first aid, the injured were taken to local hospitals by ambulance. Following the prosecutor's examination, the bodies of the two deceased were taken to the morgue for autopsies.

The driver, Mehmet Emin A., was taken into custody and reportedly stated in his initial statement that the accident occurred because he fell asleep. An investigation has been launched into the accident.
