Para swimmer Defne Kurt wins gold medal! She broke the world championship record

According to a statement from the Turkish National Paralympic Committee, Defne Kurt, one of the crescent-star athletes, advanced to the finals by breaking the championship and European record with a time of 27.34 in the women's 50-meter freestyle S10 category in the organization that started today in the capital Singapore.
Defne Kurt broke the championship record again with a time of 27.21 in the final, winning the gold medal with a historic achievement.
In the open age women's 50-meter freestyle S5 category final, national athlete Sevilay Öztürk ranked 6th with a time of 42.46.
In the open age women's 50-meter freestyle S5 category final, national athlete Sümeyye Boyacı finished 8th with a time of 45.09.
National athlete Koral Berkin Kutlu placed 6th in the open age men's 50-meter freestyle S5 category final at the World Para Swimming Championships with a time of 33.27.
