Online 'exam-free driver's license' scandal: Delivery in 12 days, e-Government approved

As the fallout from Türkiye's fake diploma scandal continues, the "no-exam" driver's license" scam has now surfaced online. While authorities have repeatedly emphasized that obtaining a license without an exam is impossible, online license deals continue to be made through fake driving schools.

According to NTV, scammers are using the names and advertisements of real driving schools to create fake advertisements and lure citizens into a trap.

Promised delivery within 12 days

Advertisements were seen saying, "Anyone who wants to get a driver's license without any conditions, for those who are illiterate, or who have never passed the exam, should send a message." The licenses are promised to be delivered within 12 days.

Fake driver's licenses, purportedly approved by the e-government system, are being sold for between 20,000 and 80,000 lira. It's been reported that those who wanted to obtain licenses without an exam were given the exam instead. Scammers are also using social media to gain trust by posting images of people they've allegedly obtained without an exam.
