Number of licensed clubs increased to 32

In a written statement from the TFF, it was stated that "TFF Club Licensing Board, by making evaluations within the scope of the National Club Licensing System, examined the applications made by the clubs in the top 3 leagues, Trendyol Super League, Trendyol 1st League and TFF 2nd League, according to sporting, football social responsibility, infrastructure, personnel-administrative, legal and financial criteria.
In its first evaluations on May 21, 2025, the Club Licensing Board granted UEFA Licenses to Beşiktaş, Çaykur Rizespor, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Göztepe, Eyüpspor, Kasımpaşa, Başakşehir, Samsunspor and Trabzonspor from the Trendyol Super League; İstanbulspor from the Trendyol 1st League; Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Fomget GSK, Beşiktaş JK Women's Football Team, Fenerbahçe Petrol Ofisi Women's Football Team, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor Women's Football Team from the Turkcell Women's Football Super League.
The Board also found it appropriate for Bodrum FK from the Trendyol Super League, Çorum FK, Iğdır FK, Manisa Football Club and Ankara Keçiörengücü from the Trendyol 1st League, and Beyoğlu Yeni Çarşı Sports Activities, Ankara Demirspor, Altınordu, Adana 01 Football Club SK and Karacabey Belediye Sports Clubs from the Nesine 2nd League to obtain a National License.
The Board convened today to make decisions on the second stage of the National Club License. Accordingly; Gaziantep Football Club and Alanyaspor from the Trendyol Super League; 68 Aksarayspor, Sarıyer, Batman Petrol Spor and Fethiyespor from the 2nd League were granted national licenses after they were deemed to have completed their deficiencies within the given period.
At the same meeting, the board imposed a fine and a second 30-day extension period on the remaining clubs that could not complete their deficiencies, in accordance with the relevant articles of Annex XIV Table of the Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Directive, which determines the sanctions to be applied to the criteria violations regulated in Article 26/1 of the Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Directive.
Thus, the number of clubs that received a license for the 2025-2026 season increased from 26 to 32.
