Markets closed the week with gains: Stock market, gold and dollar are on the rise

Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul increased by an average of 0.80 percent on a weekly basis, the gram price of gold increased by 1.47 percent, the dollar/TL exchange rate increased by 0.86 percent and the euro/TL rate increased by 0.14 percent.
After seeing a low of 9,957.84 points and a high of 10,441.05 points, the BIST 100 index closed the week at 10,358.46 points, 0.80 percent higher than the previous week's close.
The selling price per gram of 24-carat gold bullion traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 1.47 percent this week to 4,330 liras, while the selling price of republic gold increased by 1.76 percent to 29,260 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 7,126 lira last weekend, increased by 1.77 percent to 7,252 lira.
This week, the US dollar increased by 0.86 percent to 40.1770 lira, while the euro increased by 0.14 percent to 47.0590 lira.
This week, investment funds gained 0.76 percent and pension funds gained 0.77 percent.
When examined by category, the highest-yielding among investment funds were "stock market investment" funds with 1.36 percent.
