Israel targets Rantisi Children's Hospital in Gaza City

In a statement released by the Gaza Ministry of Health, it was reported that the Israeli army targeted the upper floors of the hospital three times last night, with a few minutes between them.
The statement condemned the Israeli attack and said, "This crime confirms once again the occupying Israeli government's systematic policy of targeting and disabling the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip."
It was emphasized that Rantisi Children's Hospital is the "only specialized hospital" in the Gaza Strip that includes specialties such as oncology, dialysis, respiratory and digestive diseases.
There are children among the 80 patients receiving treatment at the hospital.It was noted that there were 80 patients receiving treatment in various departments in the hospital, 4 children in the intensive care unit, and 8 babies in the neonatal care unit.
It was reported that after the Israeli attack, 40 patients left the hospital in search of safety and to save their children, while 40 patients and their companions, 12 intensive care patients and 30 hospital staff remained in the hospital.
Calls were made to provide protection to health facilities, staff and patients in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army continues its fierce attacks targeting various parts of the Gaza Strip, bombing buildings and homes in an attempt to displace civilians in Gaza City.
