Indictment against Tunç Soyer and 64 others! Sentence requested has been announced

An indictment has been prepared as part of an investigation into İZBETON in İzmir. The indictment states that following criminal complaints alleging irregularities in construction work in exchange for flats in the Örnekköy 3rd Stage, Örnekköy 4th Stage, Gaziemir-Aktepe/Emrez Neighborhood 1st Stage, Karabağlar 3rd Stage, and Karabağlar 4th Stage, 449 victims, 7 complainants, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, the Ministry of Interior, the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, and İZBETON A.Ş. were identified as victims of the crime.

'AGGRAVATED FRAUD' ACCUSATION

It was stated that 65 defendants, 11 of whom are under arrest, including former İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer and CHP İzmir Provincial Chairman Şenol Aslanoğlu, were involved in a series of aggravated fraud crimes.

Request for up to 45 years in prison

The defendants were reportedly using public institutions and organizations, public professional organizations, and legal entities such as political parties, foundations, or associations as tools. Prison sentences ranging from three to 45 years were sought for the defendants.
