Fenerbahçe fans react harshly to Tanju Özcan: Low-quality, adolescent...

Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan, who shared posts about Fenerbahçe and Ali Koç on social media, claimed that Fenerbahçe Club President Ali Koç called him yesterday and "tried to put him in his place."
Özcan used the following expressions in his post:
Ali Koç just called me. He probably tried to put me in my place, emboldened by his money. Of course, he got his comeuppance. Look, Ali Koç, I'm not the grandson of industrialist Vehbi Koç; I'm the grandson of Mehmet Özcan, a poor forest villager. I didn't get to where I am thanks to my grandfather's and father's money. Thanks to the virtues of the Republic, I received a good education and was elected six times with the love and support of the people. Don't ever try to call and insult elected officials with the spoiled "boy from the waterfront" attitude again.
Because money isn't accepted everywhere, and not every bird can be eaten. That's right, I'm not a Fenerbahçe fan. You can ask Mr. Aziz Yıldırım about me. While the July 3rd FETÖ plot against Fenerbahçe was being hatched, I was the only member of parliament who exposed this conspiracy from the parliamentary podium, while the massive, wealthy, and glorious Fenerbahçe fans were burying their heads in the sand. Come on, let's pretend this phone call never happened, since it's so close. Apologize not to me personally, but to Boluspor, whom you tried to humiliate with the offensive phrase, "Is Talisca a player who should play for a club like Boluspor?", and let's drop the subject.
WHAT DID OZCAN SAY?In his previous posts, Özcan addressed Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç with the following expressions:
Mr. Ali Koç, I purchased the lion pictured at the Bolu Fair. If you don't send Dominik Livakovic, Archie Brown, and Talisca to Boluspor within three business days, I will erect this lion in Bolu Square and name it Ali Koç.
Mr. Ali Koç, the time I gave you is running out. Don't you keep your promises at all? We have a neighborhood named after your late grandfather (in my village, actually). We asked Boluspor to bring in three of the players you paid for and didn't play, but you still haven't heard back. Do you insist on changing the name of Vehbi Koç Neighborhood to Aziz Yıldırım Neighborhood? If Aziz Abi had been there, those three players would have arrived in Bolu yesterday.
1907 ASSOCIATION REACTS TO ÖZCAN1907 Fenerbahçe Association issued a written statement following Özcan's posts.
In a statement made by the association, the following statements were made in response to Özcan:
“We are following with astonishment the social media posts of Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan, an elected public official, in the manner of a low-quality teenager.
The attitudes he displayed were so impudent, frivolous and beyond respect that they were unbecoming of a mayor who had the responsibility of governing a huge city.
We would like to emphasize that these cheap and disrespectful messages sent to Fenerbahçe Sports Club on social media under the guise of a "transfer request" cast a shadow over the seriousness of the office they represent. A mayor's duty is to serve their city, solve its problems, and add value to their people, not to try to create a buzz on social media.
From here, we openly call out to Tanju Özcan:
Fenerbahçe Sports Club and its President are in no way tools for personal spectacle, social media content, or cheap populism. Our community, as it has throughout history, will stand firm against any disrespect targeting our club's president and its values and will respond in the strongest possible terms.
ANOTHER ASSOCIATION MADE A STATEMENTAnother reaction to Özcan came from the Fenerbahçe Volunteers Association.
The statement made by the association included the following statements:
We condemn the frivolous and inappropriate statements made by Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan regarding Fenerbahçe Sports Club via his personal social media account. We remind Mr. Özcan that, instead of engaging in populist rhetoric, he must focus on his primary duty: municipal services, and act with the responsibility required by the office he represents. We emphasize that we will oppose any attempt to target the values of Fenerbahçe Sports Club and will continue to stand by our club. In this context, we declare our complete opposition to any attempt to exploit the Fenerbahçe name for political gain or for congressional politics ahead of the upcoming Extraordinary General Assembly. Respectfully,
