Expatriate density has begun at the border gates!

Expatriates continue to arrive at the border gates. Expatriates are flocking to Türkiye to spend their annual leave from the European countries they live in.

Border gates are overflowing

After their long journey, the expats who entered the country through the border gates in Edirne, set off for their hometowns after the procedures.

The longing for exile is over

Coming from Bremen, Germany, Fatih Öztürk said that he was happy to be reunited with Türkiye after entering the country through the İpsala Border Gate.

Öztürk, who stated that the journey went well and the roads were open, said, "We waited for a long time at the border gate in Greece. It is a good feeling to finally reach our hometown. First, we will visit our friends and relatives. We will spend the rest of our time on vacation."

Expats flock to Türkiye on annual leave

Emphasizing that the days abroad are bittersweet, Öztürk said, "We work for a year with the longing to be able to come to Türkiye. We always experience longing for our hometown, we spend 3-4 weeks in our hometown."

Kenan Sucuoğlu, who came from the Netherlands, also noted that being an expatriate is difficult.

Explaining that they come to their hometown every year, Sucuoğlu said, "When we cross the border and reunite with our hometown, we are very happy. It is very difficult to explain that feeling. When we come to our hometown, we relieve our longing and rest."
