Baykar anchored at the top of exports

Baykar, which developed Türkiye's national and original UAVs, continues its steady rise in exports. Baykar, which has been the export leader in the defense and aviation sector for the last 4 years, managed to become one of the top 10 companies in Türkiye that export the most goods in 2024. Baykar, which was the first defense and aviation company to enter the list by signing a first in Turkey's export history last year, maintained its place at the top this year.

According to the list announced at the "Export Champions Award Ceremony" organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) at the Istanbul Haliç Congress Center, Baykar became one of the top 10 companies with the highest exports of goods in Türkiye. The award, presented by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who attended the ceremony, was received by Baykar Board Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar.

All projects are carried out with own resources

Baykar, which has carried out all its projects with its own resources from the beginning to the present, has obtained 83 percent of all its revenues from exports since the beginning of the UAV R&D process in 2003. According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) in 2021, 2022 and 2023, Baykar was the export leader of the defense and aviation sector and maintained this title in 2024.

Export leader

Baykar, which was announced by TİM as the export champion of the sector in 2024, continued its strong performance last year and realized 1.8 billion dollars in exports. Baykar, which has obtained more than 90 percent of its revenues from exports in recent years, carried Türkiye to the leading position in the global UCAV export market by making 1/4 of the exports in the defense and aviation sector in 2024.

Continuing its success on a global scale, Baykar, the world's largest unmanned aerial vehicle company, has signed export agreements with 35 countries for the Bayraktar TB2 SİHA and with 15 countries for the Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA, totaling 36 countries.
