Alleged attack on Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras's home: Governor's Office intervened

According to a report in the Marmaris Manşet newspaper, a tip received by security units included allegations that the residence of CHP's Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras would be shot.

After the report was taken seriously, the Muğla Governorship took immediate action and instructed that the necessary measures be taken.

By order of the governor's office, gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area where Mayor Aras's home is located. Provincial Gendarmerie Command personnel began implementing intense security measures around the house and the neighborhood, and began keeping watch to prevent any potential attacks.

Authorities stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing and security measures will continue for a while.
