Wardruna, one of the strongest representatives of Nordic folk music, met with music lovers at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theatre in Istanbul.

Inspired by ancient Norse traditions, Wardruna transformed the sounds of nature, history, and spirit into music, bringing the profound mysticism of the Viking Age to the stage. Known for their songs featured in cult series like Vikings, Game of Thrones, and Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, the band delivered an unforgettable night with their powerful vocals, traditional instruments, and hypnotic atmosphere.

Wardruna, who recently released her sixth album, "Birna," which means "she-bear" in Old Norse, describes her albums as works of art dedicated to the guardian of the forest, the protector of nature and her battles on earth.

In addition to his work with Wardruna, Einar Selvik has composed music for major television and gaming productions such as Vikings and Assassin's Creed – Valhalla. He has lectured on Old Norse literature, musicology, instruments, and philosophy. He has also worked with renowned artists such as Mari Boine, Tina Guo, Matoma, and Eivør, and has appeared on national television in Norway, Denmark, and Poland. Wardruna continues to create inner and outer landscapes and moments of genuine connection between listeners, in dialogue with them.
