Many events will meet art lovers in Istanbul this week.

This week in Istanbul, many events, from exhibitions to concerts, from theater plays to festivals, will be held for art lovers.

The 13th Bosphorus Film Festival will showcase many important productions. Screenings at Atlas 1984 Cinema, AKM Yeşilçam Cinema, and Cinema Pink will feature films such as "Palestine 36," "The Voice of Hind Rajab," "All That's Left of You," "The Grape Harvest," "With Hasan in Gaza," "Yalla Parkour," "To Create a Man," "Song of the Lake," "Day and Night," "There's Nothing New Under the Sun," "Kanto," "Like a Felled Tree," "The Fragmented Years," "Beyond the Rails," and "Rabbit Empire."

The ballet "Swan Lake" will be performed at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) on November 12-13, and the opera "Gilgamesh" will be performed on November 15. "Treasure Tale Small Steps on the Treasure's Trail" will be performed on November 9, and the dance performance "Troy" will be performed on November 16. The play "The Professional," written by Serbian author Dusan Kovaçevic, will be performed at the AKM Theater Hall on November 15-16.

This week, as part of the 29th Istanbul Theatre Festival, you can watch “Open Property” at the Istanbul Drapers’ Bazaar (IMC) from November 13-15; “Istanbul Mon Amour: Pera’s Dark Room” at Beyoğlu Sports Club, Beyoğlu Cinema, and Metrohan on November 15; and “A Play Within a Play” at Alan Kadıköy.

CONCERTS TO BE HELD

The Atatürk Week and Zeybek Concert will be held at the AKM on November 12th, "Voice of the Bards: Edip Akbayram" on November 13th, and "Songs of My Brother Ahmet: Memories, Traces, and Longing" on November 16th. Mete Taşın will perform "Symphony of Anatolia" on November 15th, and the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Children's Choir will perform in the "Gratitude to Atatürk" concert on November 15th and 16th.

A concert by Julianna Barwick and Mary Lattimore will be held today at Salon İKSV in collaboration with the Istanbul Biennial.

Sibel Can will perform at the Harbiye Cemil Kopuzlu Open Air Stage tomorrow, Cem Adrian on November 12th, and Özcan Deniz on November 13th .

Zorlu PSM will host Batu Şallıel's jazz concert tomorrow and the MIX Festival on November 14-15.

Oscar-winning Glen Hansard will hold his first concert in Turkey tomorrow at the Turkcell Platinium Stage .

Duman will meet music lovers at JollyJoker Arena and Gripin will meet music lovers at IF Performance Hall Beşiktaş on November 15th.

THIS WEEK'S EXHIBITIONS

The "Dark World" exhibition can be visited at Salt Galata until December 14. Salt Beyoğlu will host the "We've Been on Carpet Since the 90s" exhibition until March 1, 2026.

Mehmet Aslan and Muhammed Muheisen's "The Rest of the Story" photography exhibition can be visited at the Rami Library until November 15.

Painter Gülseren Südor's " Timeless & Spaceless" exhibition can be visited at Galeri Diani until November 29th.

The "Common Emotions: Works from the British Council Collection" exhibition at Pera Museum will be open to visitors until January 18, 2026.

"IV," which features works by Yalçın Gökçebağ, Gözde Atlas, Mümin Candaş and Günsu Saraçoğlu, will continue at Evrim Art Gallery until November 19.

Various workshops will be held for children and their families at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) during the mid-term break. The "Türk Telekom Children's Workshop - What is Artificial Intelligence? I'm Learning with Robot Zeki" event will be held from November 9-16, while "From Drawing to Sculpture: Bringing My Character to Life" and "Skills Workshop: Stories of the Colorful Bird" will be held on November 13.
