Cumhuriyet Art Gallery at Izmir Art Fair

The IAAF Izmir Art and Antiques Fair, held at Fuar Izmir/Gaziemir between May 7-11, 2025, met with art lovers for the second time this year. The event, organized by DEMOS Fair Organization, features more than 8,000 works by over 1,500 artists from nearly 100 galleries and art initiatives. The fair, which brings together many branches of art such as contemporary and classical art, tiles, ceramics, glass, wood and sculpture, welcomes its visitors every day between 11:00 and 19:00 until May 11.

Cumhuriyet Art Gallery took part in this great art meeting with a strong team. The artists who took part in the fair with their works under the guidance of Hayriye Sır, who is the curator of the gallery, are: Aslı Akyüz, Filiz Sır, Hayriye Sır, Kıvılcım Güngörün and Özlem Kalmaz. The gallery's stand offers viewers powerful works prepared with different techniques and original forms of expression.

Music and art events are also organized every evening as part of the fair. Following the “IAAF Stage Art of the Year Awards Ceremony” held on the opening day, the Gülsin Onay concert provided an unforgettable night for art lovers. In the following days, concerts by names such as Kerem Görsev and Hakan Aysev attracted great attention. The IFI WID 2025 Seminar titled “Sensory Design, Spatial Experience and Artificial Intelligence Applications” to be held on May 10 will also be one of the striking events of the fair.

On Sunday, May 11, surprise workshops will take place at the IAAF Stage in the finale of the fair.

Reflecting the colorful and polyphonic face of art, Izmir Art and Antiques Fair continues to offer an inspiring art experience to viewers of all ages.
