Çiftçi thanked everyone who contributed to the organization of the program and all classic car enthusiasts who brought the vehicles to the public.
TARGET NATIONAL CLASSIC VEHICLE FAIRProvincial Director of Culture and Tourism Ahmet Yer said that not only classic cars were exhibited at the fair, but also that they introduced citizens to the lifestyle, travel approach and aesthetic perspective of a period.
Yer emphasized that these classic cars, each carrying the spirit of their own era, are valuable cultural assets that carry the story of the past to the present, and noted the following:
"Culture manifests itself not only in works of art but also in a wide range of areas, from architecture and music to folk dances, cuisine, and, of course, transportation. Classic cars are invaluable tools that demonstrate both technological advancements and the evolution of aesthetics over time. As Erzurum, we are proud to host this richness. I hope that in the coming years, this event will bring together classic car enthusiasts from across the country and become a national fair in our city."
Sadık Körükler, the Provincial Representative of Classic Automobile Manufacturers, said they were excited to meet at this fair, which brings together nostalgia, art, and engineering in a way that befits Erzurum's historical texture and cultural richness.
Following the speeches, the ribbon was cut and the fair was opened.
Following the folk dances and janissary band performance, citizens showed interest in the 55 classic vehicles lined up in the square and took photos with the vehicles they liked.
