Actress Lynn Hamilton, known for her roles in "Sanford and Son" and "The Waltons," has died at the age of 95.

Hamilton's death was announced by his former manager Calvin Carson. Carson announced on social media that the veteran actor died of natural causes on June 19 at his home in Chicago.

According to Cumhuriyet, Carson said goodbye to Hamilton in her post, "His passing marks the end of an era. But his legacy will continue to inspire future generations."

Born in Mississippi, Lynn Hamilton received her acting training at the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. She began her film career in the 1959 John Cassavetes film Shadows. During her long career, she appeared in films such as Brother John, Buck and the Preacher, and Lady Sings the Blues, as well as many soap operas.
