Actress Lynn Hamilton has passed away

Lynn Hamilton, known for her work in productions such as Sanford and Son and The Waltons and who left her mark on the world of cinema and television, has died at the age of 95.
Hamilton's death was announced by his former manager Calvin Carson. Carson announced on social media that the veteran actor died of natural causes on June 19 at his home in Chicago.
“His passing marks the end of an era. But his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come,” Carson said in her post, bidding farewell to Hamilton.
Born in Mississippi, Lynn Hamilton received her acting training at the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. She began her film career in the 1959 John Cassavetes film Shadows. During her long career, she appeared in films such as Brother John, Buck and the Preacher, and Lady Sings the Blues, as well as many soap operas.
