Türkiye accounts for 1 percent of the world's population

The global child population (ages 0-17) ratio for 2024 was announced as 29.6%. Türkiye's 25.5% figure fell short of the global average. The Central African Republic had the highest child population ratio at 56.5%, followed by Niger (53.7%), Somalia (53.2%), and Mali. The Republic of Korea had the lowest child population ratio at 13.2%.
