Thunderstorm warning for Ankara

The General Directorate of Meteorology issued a warning for local heavy rainfall to be seen in the north and east of Ankara.

Accordingly, thunderstorms expected to be seen between 15:00 and 19:00 today are expected to be locally strong in the north and east of the city.

In the statement, it was emphasized that citizens should be careful and cautious against possible risks such as flash floods, inundations , lightning, local hail and strong winds during rainfall .
