The World Bank raised Türkiye's growth rate expectation from 3.1 percent to 3.5 percent for 2025, from 3.6 percent to 3.7 percent for 2026, and from 4.2 percent to 4.4 percent for 2027.
The World Bank has updated its growth forecasts for the Turkish economy in its regional economic outlook report. According to the report, Türkiye's growth rate expectations have been raised from 3.1 percent to 3.5 percent for 2025, from 3.6 percent to 3.7 percent for 2026, and from 4.2 percent to 4.4 percent for 2027. The organization noted that the Turkish economy has entered a more stable growth path due to the impact of recently implemented policies and macroeconomic rebalancing. The assessment also noted that a moderate but sustainable increase in investments is projected, with growth expected to gradually strengthen in the coming years.
