The number of members of political parties in Türkiye has been updated

The Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Public Prosecutor's Office published the current membership numbers of political parties. While the AKP ranked first with 10 million 878 thousand 733 members, the CHP remained in second place with 1 million 903 thousand 432 members. The New Welfare Party attracted attention with a membership number exceeding 650 thousand, and it was announced that there were 180 parties active in Türkiye.

The Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Public Prosecutor's Office published the current membership numbers of political parties in Türkiye on its website.

According to the data updated and shared with the public in the first weeks of January and July every year, the Justice and Development Party ( AKP ) has become the political party with the highest number of members in Turkey, with 10 million 878 thousand 733 members.

The Republican People's Party ( CHP ) followed the AK Party with 1,903,432 members. Of the other parties in parliament, the Nationalist Movement Party ( MHP ) had 497,428 members, the Good Party had 392,803 members, and the DEM Party had 15,912 members. The Saadet Party was on the list with 246,842 members.

While the New Welfare Party attracted attention with 650 thousand 73 members, the Democrat Party was announced as 315 thousand 786, the Democracy and Breakthrough Party ( DEVA) as 129 thousand 112, and the Great Unity Party ( BBP ) as 111 thousand 34 members.

The number of members of the HDP , whose closure case is ongoing at the Constitutional Court, was recorded as 13,970.

Other political parties are listed as follows: the Victory Party with 72,423 members, the Future Party with 62,243 members, the Homeland Party with 50,140 members, the Turkish Workers' Party ( TİP ) with 36,044 members, the Key Party with 42,851 members, the Motherland Party with 22,895 members, the Democratic Left Party ( DSP ) with 23,010 members, the Free Cause Party ( HUDA PAR ) with 15,374 members, the Independent Turkey Party with 13,908 members, and the Communist Party of Turkey ( TKP ) with 6,882 members.
