Terrifying fire in Şişli: Flames extinguished before spreading to house

Garbage in the garden of a shanty house on Şişli's 19 Mayıs Street allegedly caught fire due to broken glass coming into contact with the sun. While the fire quickly grew, firefighters intervened and brought the flames under control before they could spread to the house.

In the incident that occurred at around 13:00, it was claimed that the garbage in the garden where the homeowner kept dogs and chickens caught fire due to sunlight. While the fire grew, causing panic in the area, citizens tried to intervene with their own means.

Firefighters extinguished the fire

Many firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene after people in the area called 112. The teams brought the fire under control before it spread to the house and cooling efforts were carried out.

There were no injuries or deaths

According to information received from authorities, there was no loss of life or injury in the fire. A detailed investigation has been launched into the incident.
