Temporary regulation for metro transportation: Two stations will be closed as of 10:00

A significant change is underway in Istanbul's public transportation system. According to a statement from Metro Istanbul , the DTM (World Trade Center) and Atatürk Airport stations on the M1A Yenikapı–Atatürk Airport Metro Line will be temporarily closed starting at 10:00 a.m. today.
Temporary closure by governor's decisionWhile the decision was reportedly made by the Istanbul Governor's Office, no specific date has yet been given for when the stations will reopen. Metro Istanbul announced that the stations will be closed until further notice.
Flights are being shortenedWith this development, services on the M1A line will now operate only between Yenikapı and Yenibosna stations. Passengers heading to the DTM and Atatürk Airport are advised to use alternative transportation methods.
Passengers are asked to follow announcements and update their transportation plans during this period, while officials stated that the change in the metro line is temporary and that the necessary information will be provided to the public.
