Qatari Emir hopeful for Sharm al-Sheikh summit

In his statement on his social media account, Sheikh Tamim expressed his satisfaction with the positive outcomes of the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit.
The Emir of Qatar expressed hope that the summit will be a prelude to subsequent agreements that will meet the expectations of the Gazans and contribute to achieving a comprehensive, just and sustainable solution to the Palestinian issue.
Sheikh Tamim noted that they expect all parties to adhere to the joint agreement reached.
US President Trump announced on October 9 that Israel and Hamas had approved the first phase of a ceasefire plan in Gaza during ongoing negotiations in Egypt.
While the agreement was signed in Egypt, where the negotiations were held, the agreement came into effect on October 10 with the approval of the Israeli government.
Yesterday, a "Peace Summit" was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, with the participation of many leaders to finalize the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
