Minister Yerlikaya: There are children in Gaza whose laughter is being silenced

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared a post on his NSosyal account regarding the letter sent by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife Emine Erdoğan to Melania Trump.

Stating that the letter was written to all humanity, Yerlikaya said:

Every line of the letter reminds us of the conscience that humanity has forgotten. Because there are children in Gaza whose laughter has been silenced… There are innocent children whose toys have been left buried under the rubble, whose mothers have been left without them, whose childhoods have been taken away from them. Regardless of where they live, regardless of where they are born, a child's tears are a disgrace to the world. The esteemed lady has made a historic call. And history will not record those who remain silent in the face of oppression, but those who stand tall against the oppressors.
