HE WAITED FOR TODAY FOR YEARS: TRUMP'S $200 MILLION DREAM IS COMING TRUE!

US President Donald Trump is making another dream he has had for the White House a reality.
WORTH $200 MILLION
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt recently announced the construction of a new $200 million ballroom . The venue will be integrated into the East Wing of the White House and will cover approximately 8,360 square meters. Construction on the hall, which will have a capacity of approximately 650 people, is scheduled to begin in September .

'TENTS ARE A COMPLETE DISASTER'
Addressing the issue at Thursday's press conference, Trump, referencing former US presidents , said, "No president has ever been good with ballrooms. But I know construction. These big tents are a disaster. That era is over." He also said he would eliminate the temporary structures used for official receptions.
The hall is expected to replace the giant tents used for many years for large receptions and state dinners at the White House.
"NO SINGLE PENNY WILL BE TAKEN FROM THE GOVERNMENT"
Trump's request isn't new. In the 2010s , during President Barack Obama's administration, Trump offered a $100 million donation to build a ballroom at the White House, but the administration turned him down. Today, he's financing the project entirely through his own resources, along with private donors. "Not a single penny will be taken from the government ," Trump said.
Spokesperson Leavitt confirmed that Trump and unnamed "patriotic private donors" are funding the project. Clark Construction and AECOM will handle construction. The architectural design, in keeping with the classic lines of the White House, is by McCrery Architects.

GOLD COLUMNS, CRYSTAL CHANDELIERS
Published architectural drawings show the interior featuring Corinthian columns, gold accents, and crystal chandeliers. The aesthetic of the hall is reminiscent of Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Trump himself has previously cited the ballroom at his Turnberry golf resort, saying , "If I could take that hall and put it in the White House, it would be perfect."
Trump's personal interest in the project was noted for even raising the issue during his meeting with Ursula von der Leyen in Scotland for a European Council summit.
The first lady's office will also be moved
The new hall will not only be a lavish event space but also a symbol of the White House's physical transformation. It has been announced that First Lady Melania Trump and senior staff will relocate their offices during construction , and the East Wing will be completely modernized. The project will be the most comprehensive architectural transformation the White House has undergone since the major renovations.

CONCRETE FLOOR FOR HIGH-HEEL SHOES
Trump's previous installation of concrete floors in the Rose Garden reflects a similar aesthetic approach. The replacement was done to prevent female guests' high heels from sinking into the grass.
TO BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF 2025
The ballroom, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, is expected to be used by US presidents after Trump.
