After the 2025 Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) placement results became available on September 8, 2025, inquiries for the supplementary preference guide gained momentum. Registrations were conducted by the relevant university between September 11-17, 2025, while electronic registrations took place between September 11-15, 2025. So, when will the DGS supplementary preferences be, and have vacant quotas been announced?

A total of 103,076 candidates applied for formal, distance and open education programs; the number of candidates placed was 56,634.

The current number of vacant positions is 19,089. The exact number of vacant positions will be finalized after registration is completed and will be published in ÖSYM's supplementary preference guide.

No official announcement has yet been made regarding the DGS supplementary application dates. The process is expected to begin after the YKS supplementary application period. Updated information will be shared in this news report as it becomes available.
