Free transportation to Başıbüyük Market has started

Among the demands conveyed at the neighborhood meetings where Maltepe Mayor Architect Esin Köymen met with the district residents were the problems and difficulties experienced in transportation to the neighborhood markets. The second address of the free passenger transportation launched on Thursdays in Altıntepe Neighborhood was Başıbüyük Neighborhood. With the application, which was also influenced by the demands of the citizens living in Başıbüyük Neighborhood, free passenger transportation was started to the neighborhood market set up in front of the Health Center on Başıbüyük Street in Başıbüyük Neighborhood on Sundays. The ring service organized between 11:00-16:00 enables citizens to reach the market place and do their shopping comfortably and safely from 12 stops in the neighborhood.
Citizens' transportation ordeal comes to an endGülfidan Yılmaz, one of the residents of the neighborhood, stated that she had not come to the market to shop since the coronavirus and said, "Neighborhood Headman Ayhan Karpuz had announced on his social media account that the ring service would start today. I wondered if it had started, so I came. I was very happy that it had started. It is very difficult for citizens living on the hills of the neighborhood to shop. We had difficulty carrying our belongings up the hill to the market. Most people cannot come to the market for this reason. With this service, the difficulties people have will end. We would like to thank our Mayor Esin Köymen very much."
The transportation stops of the trips are as follows: Başıbüyük Street from the market beginning (in front of the Health Center), Tekke Street, Kartallılar Street, Tekke Stream, Dudullu Road Street, Büyükbakkalköy Road Street, Trafo Street, Eski Last Stop, Merve Street, Zirve Street, Yarıcı Street, Tepe Mosque front finish.
